Glenn Hoddle in serious condition after collapsing at BT studios
Former England manager and Tv pundit Glenn Hoddle is in hospital after “collapsing” at the BT studios earlier today.
BT Sports presenter Jake Humphrey revealed the news on his Twitter.
Hoddle turned 61 on Saturday and is regarded as one of the most talented midfielders to play for Tottenham where he won two FA cups, and England in recent decades. Hoddle also played for both Monaco and Chelsea before moving into management where he managed the likes of Chelsea, England, Southhampton, Tottenham and Wolves.
During his time as England manager Hoddle took his side to the 1998 World Cup in France. The English FA were quick to wish him well saying “Worrying news. Get well soon, Glenn Hoddle, we’re all behind you.”
Hoddle scored 8 goals in 53 appearances for England and his former England teammate and BT Sports presenter Gary Lineker was thinking of him and his family while Chelsea and Tottenham also sent their best wishes.
The whole team at Trendster.ie wishes Glenn and his family the very best, and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
