Premier League 2018/19: Predictions

As the Premier League kicks off this weekend for another exciting season, here are my ‘Top 4’ and ‘Relegation Zone’ predictions.

Who will finish in the Top 4?

This may be the most exciting title race yet, it is hard to pick between the top two this season. The summer transfer window seen Liverpool bring in some top signings, and Manchester City only bring in Leicester superstar, Riyadh Mahrez.

1. Liverpool

If the main man Mo Salah can replicate his form from last season, and Liverpool can keep a bit of consistency, they might slip in and win their first Premier League title.

2. Manchester City

I have put City second because I believe that after winning the title last season Pep might want to concentrate on winning the Champions League this season.

3. Tottenham Hotspur

I think there will be a decent gap between second and third place this season. However, if Harry Kane keeps scoring I think Spurs can finish third.

4. Arsenal

Wenger is gone, and Unai Emre seems to have lifted the place by playing the duo, Lacazette and Aubameyang straight up top. I reckon they can sneak into fourth.

Who will be relegated?

When the season comes to a close next year these are the sides I reckon will find themselves in the relegation zone.

18. Newcastle United

Rafa Benitez is looking unsettled due to his low transfer budget, and fans are boycotting games because of Mike Ashley. I think they may fall into relegation as I cant’t see Rafa sticking it out until the end of the season.

19. Crystal Palace

If Palace lose Wilfred Zaha in the January transfer window I think it could be game over.

20. Cardiff

I don’t think Neil Warnock will keep his side up this season.
