Today I’m here to talk to you all about the company and their brush cleanser! I have been using this brand for months now and I must admit, I adore it!
First off, let me tell you a little bit about the brand. Mume started off in 2008 when Emma realized that we all needed a natural, good quality brush cleanser in our makeup drawer. Mume is a cruelty-free, Irish company that specializes in brush cleansers. This brush cleanser is made from 100% natural ingredients and is suitable for sensitive skin. They contain no harsh chemicals whatsoever and do a fabulous job of getting rid of all the bacteria on your brushes.
I received the Vegan brush cleanser and got on very well with it! The ingredients in this specific cleanser were: Coconut oil, olive oil, water, red clay, kaolin clay, sunflower oil and shea butter. The cleanser itself was in a compact tin and was solid. I love how simple yet effective Mume’s packaging is and it is a perfect size to take with you on your travels……
I purchased this product right on time because my brushes were badly in need of a good clean! To start off I let the water run until it was lukewarm, and then wet my brushes. I then swirled it around in the cleanser until I saw that it got creamy. I then swirled the brush in my hand, ran the brush under the water and voilà… my brushes were clean! Repeat this cycle as many times as you want until your brushes are clean again. Don’t forget to clean your cleanser after use to get rid of the excess make-up!!
